Roger, I'm glad you finally got things sorted out, 89 MPH is very impressive! I spoke with you and your wife last year at Oshkosh after your shortened run, are you returning this year, weather looks great! Steve

Hi Steve

We are not going to make it to Oshkosh this year. Except for breaking down, I thought that was a very good poker run but I plan to stay on Lake Michigan for this year.

When I first bought the boat it ran 83 mph and I was happy with that but to be able to run in the upper 80's is great. I am surprised myself at speed of this thing but I'm not complaining.

Good luck with the run.

Yea I know, its too tempting. The 89 was at the sea trial with the boat low on fuel and empty of all the other stuff we pack in it.

I'm planning to wait until the end of the season and lighten the boat up as much as I can, throw in some 110 and see if I can get 90 out of it.

If this doesn't work a set of Imco shorties and a pair of 5 blade Herings may get me there. Oh yea, and about $20,000 more dollars.

I hope my fall plan works then I can leave it alone.

Anyone else have pictures of their motors? Lets see them.
