I am searching for info. on these boats. What years were they produced and how many were made? Are they still being made by another manufacturer? Were they predominately made with outboards? (Most of the ones that I have seen tend to have them) What kind of top speeds to expect with what horsepower? Anyone have specs and pics to post? Any help and info. is greatly appreciated. THANKS

Nothing available...anywhere?? I would also like to find the old Sonic full line brochure from the mid to late 1980s when the 33RS was really popular. I think they only made 3 sizes back then...a 24', 33' and a 42'.

There is a 24 Sonic on Boattrader.com with twin outboards for sale. I have one. I am looking for newer twins. Have 200's and will run about 72 mph on a good day. Looking to go with 250's. Mine is custon from JR Marine in Ft. Lauderdale.

i have a 24ss,1986.i run two 1997 225 offshore mercs,never seen one powered by anything but ob.great running boat but you MUST have big tabs,i run kk 30s.takes care of any water.its the kind of boat you can take the wife out on one night and scare the hell out of your buddies the next.

I also saw one somewhere in South Jersey...in a yard near a house...not sure if it was for sale or not. (Williamstown area??) Boat is painted black and has yellow, orange and red stripes...possibly original factory paint job. Also has TWIN O/Bs I believe. Is the current owner a member here??
