The "46" has #6's. I know they built a 386 with 900's with #6's also. That boat was changed to 500's and bravos then resold.

We rigged a 45 with triple Teague 900's and #6's. Boat dialed in at X Site, 111 MPH. This Boat was in the Sonic Fort Lauderdale Boat Show Display last year. Great running boat!

I forgot about that one. I saw it at Key West last year.

The reason I asked the question is I have had issues with the XR's that are on my 386. I have 575 SCi's and Imco boxes. It was suggested that I replace the XR's with #5's. I'm not sure that the gains would be worth the expense. What do you think?

spoke to owner last year said 105 amazing , the #6's make all the difference.

I dont doubt you at all.....Why does Merc still list them on the web site ? Thought they still made them...No 3as either ?
