Cass I was at the plant with Bill yesterday and can assure you that he asked about your inverter and the money. As far as the factory direct question "phil" stated that that "Sonics are factory direct " when asked that same question. asaltweapon is your boat an 05 or 06?

I met with Johnathan and Phil at Sonic this week. They were very understanding with the warranty issues I am having with my boat. Phil and I crawled all over my boat made a list of repairs. I must say, Phil was very helpful and knowledgeable about Sonic boats. I saw the new seats and logo's for 06. I really liked the new molded seats. Jury still out on the logo. The red and black logo looked great though. There is no new arch design. In fact they are not putting them on anymore, They will keep the mold and build one if you ask. Might of heard a rumor of the top decks being redesigned a little but don't quote me. I was also asked what I thought of Sonic putting steps in there hulls. My thoughts were no. I also found out it getting harder to insure stepped hulls.

I did get the feeling that Sonic is back with great backing and people who care about there customers. We talked about having Sonic owners meeting with the factory to get a better understanding of what we want in these boats. There is still some things the new owners are trying to straighten out from the past owners poor attitude. But give them time and I think we'll have Sonic back bigger and better.

Also thank you Capt. Brian Koch for helping me while I was there.

That is good news!

Did you see any signs of production starting up?
Is Bruce still there?

Just got off phone with Sonic. Things are really looking good. I believe this is the first 42 the new owners have had to look at and research since taking over. I was asked for my input regarding likes and dislikes on the boat, and any recommendations I may have regarding changes. I am enthused with the attitude of the new Sonic team and can't wait to see their results.

Wow a new moulded seat design, that's great news! Hope it's a little less boxy and more rounded, that would make it easier to navigate the cockpit. It's time for some fresh ideas to keep a great boat in step with the times! Steve

The new seats are awesome. Makes me want to upgrade mine. They bring the boat up to date and will be easier to navigate in the cockpit.

I wonder how much the upgrade would be?
