I emailed Sonic last night (Sunday), and recieved a phone call before 9:00 this morning. That is the quickest response I have ever gotten in the marine industry, including when I worked in it. I was told merchandise will be out in 1 to 2 weeks, they are finalizing the graphics. The 42 from the show will splash the end of this week, and a helicopter will film it. A 38 will be finished in 4-6 weeks, a 31 is right behind it. Aarons boat was finished today.
They have spent all this time cleaning up the disaster they bought and fixing warranty issues. They are now ramping up production. It all sounds great to me!!!

Thats good to hear. One question Aarons boat? If you are talking about Chucks "friend" with the 42 It's was done atleast two weeks ago, and is at Doller Offshore. They worked on My 386 about two months ago.

He said Aarons boat would be done monday, I assumed he meant the 42, maybe I misunderstood.

Who did you speak to? I have spoken to Lenny a few times.I was just wondering who's 42 was in for repair? I know Aarons was the next boat built after mine.

I want to wade in on this discussion too. I had a question on my 386 I needed an answer to so I emailed Lenny last Friday to ask him to put me in touch with Bruce in production. Lenny responded to my email on Saturday and told me he'd have Bruce call me on Monday. We didn't quite make Monday, but Bruce did call me today and he cheerfully answered all my questions. I must say I was impressed with the quick response. To me that says volumes about the effort Sonic is making to re-establish their customer loyalties and I told Bruce as much. I hope anyone else who contacts Sonic has the same good experience as I did.

I go down to the factory almost weekly,
and I am seeing great progress.

Good news.

Guy's I have had unbelievable responses from sonic this past week!! first called about some decals and they were shipped the next day and then got a response back from bruce in about an hour to a paint code I requested !! looks like things are really looking up for sonic again!!!

Follow up - called Bruce yesterday morning (Friday) with a question about my genset install (need a muffler). He passed message to Duane (Parts Dept.). Duane called me Friday afternoon and will ship muffler ASAP. Things are definitely looking up!!
