A 31 sonic can run 70 in 4-5's, never mind a bigger boat. I boat on Lake Ontario, have never had to tighten anything. Awsome in the rough stuff. The 35's tend to porpoise at moderate speeds, can be controlled with trim. The 38 has a much larger cockpit, same cabin as a 35.

My 38 doesn't like to go slow in the rough. It runs better at 60 to 70 mph + when the lake picks up.

Nothing has ever fallen apart in my boat. I did break the mount for the jack screw on the drivers seat. I was sitting down and it was too rough for that. I fixed the seat and have had no more problems.

You looking to buy one? I'm thinking about selling mine and getting a smaller boat.
