When you actualy have seat time in both boats (Like I do) in a real offshore environment I'll debate this subject with you. Untill then take your throttleman Herve Villachez and go play in your rivers and inland lakes. BTW if you are so down on Sonics why are you wasting your time in the owners forum? :confused:

We (Sonic owners) have been putting up with crap like this for some time. Someone, like the 35 post wonder, has a old beef with Sonic and takes every opportunity to cause a bunch of chit. Sorry, but we have learned to ignore the ass hole. He just won't go away. :mad:

Fountains and Sonics are both great boats. I own a Sonic but would loved to own a Fountain just as much.

Thank God that moron is gone - why is it that Sonic, Cig, Active, and other "old style", true offshore, boat owners can readily admit Fountains are among the fastest, but they suck in the rough...yet Fountain owners can never admit their shortcomings, and praise the deep-v's? :(

I'm fine knowing my Sonic isn't as fast - that's not why I bought it. Sure do love the cabin, though. :D

Must be that whole long beak/ compensating thing! :evilb:

Here I am really going to stir the terd, I have a little old 26 w/525sc and bin in some poker run (chesapeake bay M.D it gets snotty) and have put whoopins on some 35 fountains. But what I know I have a SONIC.

Also this is just a observation but when ever someone is asking/comparing or looking for help and it has nothing to do with a fountain, their questions are about Sonic,Baja,Cig, it could be about a F******g Bayliner and people start compaing it to a Fountian and its in all forums.. (everyones Knows what I mean )I dont get .... I guess its because I dont have a fountain...(not all fountain owners...and they are fast...) Its just my 2 .It gets old seeing it ...

Thanks, I just hate it when people have no clue what their talking about or have no experience on the topic they talk about. Im only 17 and have no problem standing up to someone on here who knows nothing and being a jerk. I've been around these boats my whole life. Im actually trying to get a Sonic factory tour when Im down in Miami.

I know, Miami was just refering to the central area, South Florida. We try to travel to all the major boat places. Stuart is not that big of a hike from Miami.

Yep, I know exactly what you mean. Drives me crazy. It doesn't have to be about boats either. Just put out a question like, How does a Ford F-350 tow? and see what comes back. I will bet that Dodge and Chevy will be mentioned.

I thought that was kind of funny.....since the 35 mold was taken from the Banana mold. Ask Charlie McCarthy how his boats did in the race world :D :D The Top Banana was a dog huh :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :D

I saw them race in Milwaukee, WI. It was great to watch a Sonic kicking butt. :cool:
