Default Hydromotive on a 26

So for sh!ts and grins I'm going to try a 23 Hydromotive I have in the garage this weekend. How do you think it will perform? These are stern lifting props by nature and a 23 hydro shold be about close to a 24 bravo I hear. Maybe it will effect the porpise in some way. I tried this on my old 27 Shooter with a blown 454 once and it felt like I was plowing a field. Bajas do have a little bit of a lip in the tail that Sonics don't.

Creeper If I'm right your running a 525sci. What prop have you been running. I just built 600 hp 540. I going to start with a 26p hopeing to run a 28. So I'm real interested what you guys do. I'm looking for a 50 mph cruise at 3000 - 3200.

i had one on for about 10 min.like you said it felt like a plow, the only thing that seems to work is merc's 3 and 4 blades.i wouldn't even waste the gas to try it.your best bet is to lab a prop.dave
