I have a 2002 31 sonic and was wondering how to remove the section of carpet attached to the step entering the cabin ? wanted to replace it because it's worn out.

Mines older boat, but yours might be same. Dig into the carpet and look for 4-5 screws that hold down the carpet and wood step. They bury them in there. It then comes right off.
