Help with warning buzzer.(smartcraft)
Hello, I have a 01 260 Prowler w/496 ho mag. And I just noticed when I idle out for a few mins the smart craft buzzer
starts going off. All my guages are ok, the blower is on and I even opened the enging hatch to make sure theres fresh air.
After I get on plane I can still here it for about 3 or 4 minutes and it goes off. And stays off until I start to idle for a few minutes and it starts again. Ive checked all the oils and every
guage is ok. I even looked at the depth guage and it still does
it in deep water. What am I looking over??? Any help would be great. Thanks, Timmy.

Most probably a bad sensor. Quick way to check is to find the sensor ( coolant, oil, drive reservoir, etc) and unplug ONE at a time until the alarm goes off. Replace that sensor.

I must of had a air pocket in the drive oil tank and it just took a little longer for it to come up. I put a new imco outdrive on.
And I keep a close eye on the fluid the first time out and it has been fine. It took it two or three hours to lower the level. It didnt get low enough to empty the bottle. The sensor was moving up and down letting the buzzer go off. I need my a$$
kicked for looking over something that simple and in my face
