Default WTF are these temp guages?

I have 4 temp guages on my twin engine 2002 386. 2 in the lowest row read normal coolant temp. the 2 in the middle row never come off cold. They are original and wired in by Sonic, but I have no idea what they are for. Anyone else have these?

Look on the top SB side of each drive where the vent hole is. If there is a probe screwed in there instead of the vent plug, then carrboy is right on the money. They are actually very nice to have.

Was wondering this myself all season.......I have been told oil temp, secondary water temp at another location on the motor, and drive temp. I do notice the tempature rise to about 150 degrees when running hard for a while.....let me know when you find out.........and good luck with the new ride......

No senders on the drives, oil temp sounds right. Thanks!

I get the same readings on my 358 and always assumed it was engine oil temp. Will check the drives next time down.

Sonic rarely put drive temp gauges in their boats unless specifically ordered. Most were oil and h2o temp.
