I mean the one in the head.......do they work very well?......how many showers can you get before the hot water tank runs out? and does the water just go overboard?

I dont know that many 31's have a hot water heater.

the faucet in the head sink is able to pull out and act as a shower. the head has a drain in the floor that runs to the bilge. In my 35 I pull the carpet up in the cabin and pull the faucet out there and take a shower. there is also a drain in front of the step that runs to the bilge. Theres more room out there so its more comfortable.

Most of the 31's that I worked on didnt have a hot water heater. What they had is called an "insta-hot". Its actually a series of plates that the water runs over and warms it up. If I remember correctly it only warmed it up to something like 15 or 20 degrees over ambient temperature. It didnt make it real real hot.

Never saw one with hot water. Head gets used all the time, Never use the shower, would be a tight wash and then I'd be worried about it drying out in there.

Waters cold, heads small, makes for quick showers! I used to use mine every weekend.
