-are there any differences between a 2000 and 2003 31ss hull and any other changes?
-if you had the chance, would you purchase one with twin 502efi's or twin 496mag ho's? (both with about 130 hrs)
-how much does a 2003 31ss weigh (no arch)?-about 7800 dry?
-how difficult to change the plugs?
-I would guess a starter replacement would be out of the question without pulling a motor?
-how easy is it to replace impeller. Can you get the belt and brackets off and get down to take off the hoses so you can pull the entire bracket and impeller off?

I'd go with the mags as they are closed cooling. 502's are strong motors with good internals. Plugs are doable, but tight getting to centerline plugs. Impellers, doable. 7000lbs advertised dry weight. Not sure if they are any lighter since they started the bagging process. No changes to hull design that I am aware of during that period other than the bagging.
Never had to replace a starter. Thank God!

You really need to find someone who has one of these and go ride it! Its a great ride and is a blast to go out in and have fun! Probably the best boat for the buck and the funnest that Sonic ever put out! Just asking questions is a great start but in order to really make up your mind you need a ride
