The polished look, powdercoating would look great, but definitely more work.

Hey Chris, It'll polish quicker and easier than you would think, I probably spent less than 30 minutes and half a roll of paper towels.

Although if carrboys part looks better then you have my permission to take his, he shouldn't need it for another 5 months.
