Sydwayz told me, I get a lot of spam on the address I have only posted here, more so than the address I use for everything else. It had to have been picked up because I posted it on OSO.

Yep, there are programs that spammers use; (Spam-bots) that crawl the web and gather email addresses, and add them to spam lists. Smart ones actually gather them bases on subjects/industry.

If you are sharing your email address; do it this way:

bob(a)aol.com Most people get the picture.

seems to me the spammers would just modify thier search program to also look for the (a) in a string as well as the @ ?? if they find the (a) replace it with the @ and go on to the next find.

I'm a programmer thinking out load here

sold the boat this afternoon to a local guy. credit monday but it should not be a problem... I had it only for 10 days! those boats sell fast!
