Has anybody taken their arch off?

I was wondering if anybody has taken their arch off and if so what did you use to cover up the holes?
Seems to be a simple unbolt, but I was wondering if there was a step plate available that would cover?
I just installed the Eddie Marine step plates to replace the ugly white plastic peices and they look great!

Yes, and here is a couple of threads with some good ideas on covering the holes left.
Cover for removed arch
Has anyone ever taken the Arch off their Sonic
There's more, do a advanced search for "arch" on the Sonic forum.

I have an arch that came off the sister boat to mine if you know anyone who wants one. The one taken off my boat before I got it was put on another 45 ( Terrible Tess) in our area.
The holes in my boat were filled and painted over.

If you turn them around to lean backwards like a '69 Charger Daytona, they will make the boat go faster. It increases the downforce on the back of the boat, making the props bite better.
Seriously.
