Thanks for the quick response and getting those measurements for me!!! It's going to be a big garage, looking at 24x48x10!!! The garage on my house is 24x34x9, just won't cut it for the next boat. I've already been on the phone to begin estimates and have a call into my zoning people(they are the biggest pain in the A$$). Then I have some huge beautiful oaks that will have to come down.... That's the part I don't like!!!! THANKS AGAIN!!!!

I was actually going to go with a traditional foundation and building construction for my garage. I enjoy doing that type of work. However, I'm now looking at the pole buildings that are available. With the right options, you can get them so they look pretty nice. And they are definitely cheaper in price. The prices I got from this place include tax, delivery and construction in their qoute. Here is the website for some basic buildings without options. http://www.pioneerpolebuildings.com/pages/specials.html
My estimate is for a 24x48x10tall with following options
Tan w/green roof
12' split slider door on the 24' wall
9x7 slider door on 48' side wall
3' man door with 9 pane window
3- 3x4 double hung windows
Overhangs on all walls.
Then I would do my own seemless gutters, vents and concrete work. I might even do my own windows
I don't have the total number with me, I'll get it for you tomorrow. Something like 12,000 without the gutters, vents and concrete. Concrete for this size will be $900 plus stone. Gutters $200-$300.
After I compared these prices with building a traditional frame building using my labor, it didn't much seem worth it.
We were just boat shopping over the weekend, still need to understand what boat we are going to next. I love the 358 sonic, but wow does that look big to tow.... Guess I should get some input from people on towing something that big. I need to check into insurance costs and all that stuff on something that big..... I'll get back to you.
