If you could live with outboards, this boat sounds great. Check it out.

From Sonic Email:
With fuel prices being steep the Sonic design team has come up with an alternative--the new 34 Sonic FE powered with outboards. This latest model from Sonic will run at 73-75 MPH powered with Mercury 2x 300s, yet burn less fuel. Her patented step hull adds to the fuel efficiency of this design. The new 34 Sonic offers other advantages like more cockpit room, larger sun beds and a spacious cabin with an enclosed head/shower,galley and queen bed. Options that feature a wet bar and grill make this a great boat for that weekend trip.
Outboards are now more powerful and fuel efficient plus the ability to raise the engines gives you the option of keeping the boat in the water. As always, Sonic offers a wide variety of customized paint options that vary by design. Custom Paint By: Chris Dilling EFX Graphic Design.

That could be a really nice boat. I like the wet bar and grill idea also.

Default Rumor has it

I heard that this boat may be a joint effort between Sonic and Active Thunder. Where Sonic will market overseas and Active Thunder here in States. Anyone have more info on that?

The front deck does look like an AT.

If they can give it the layout of the sonic and the performance of the Active, it would be the making for a great boat!!!

Looks like recessed bow going down center like Active rather than sonic's raised. Reduces headroom, holds water and dirt and honestly I like the raised look on the sonic.

They have to go after the Active performance and rigging, but keep the productive space and room of the sonic. Le'ts face it, Sonics are not fast boats, but they've sold a ton of them... why... awesome look and very functional spacious layout.
