When we got our 386 it was 1.5 feet longer in the cockpit and 1.5 feet longer in the bilge,then our 358. I looked into having our engines staggered but the cockpit was going to be about 4" bigger then a 358. this is what Sonic told me during the build. We went with side by side for the extra cockpit space.
