Bill or anyone else.The steps in a 42 Sonic are they screwed in or glued in?

Bruce told me they are screwed. He said to take a pair of needele nose pliers and grab the carpet back in one of the corners and pull foward that it will come up and you wil be able to see the screws.

That's exactly what bruce told me to do and I was able to get to the screws and remove it.

Chain saw around the base of the steps and then you can see how they are held in place then reglass the steps back in with the new carpet in place.















What 45SS said is correct

HEY, THE WAY MY LUCK GOES, I WOULD BREAK THE CHAINSAW...You should see the cabin interior now. No more teal.... Gray with a touch and yellow and blue... I think you would be proud....

In case you don't know Vagrant bought our old 42 Sonic and has spent a lot of time redoing the boat. If I can find some pictures of what it looked like I will post them if Dave can post the restoration pictures you'd be completely amazed.
