Default Sonic construction

Were the early 90's Sonic 30SS built with the same construction methods as the later 90's? I was told that they used a grid system without wood is that true? What are the stringers made of in the early 90's and the later 90's? Is the transom the only wood used?

They have always used wood stringers, balsa coring. 3 piece construction hull, deck, cabin liner all glassed together. You will only find seams glassed together on very high end boats. Even Formula and Donzi don't. Very solid boats. They switched to the infusion process in 2003. Before that I think is was all pretty much the same.
