rub rail delema
help ! I need to remove part of my rub rail to have my new grafix applied. its a white rub rail with a rubber insert, none of the screws are showing. There is only one joint in the center of the transom. Can I get behind the rubber insert with a putty Knife or something and pull it out? Will it expose the screws so it can be removed? Then the Big question can it be re-used? Any advice will be great!!!!
thanks Don

Thanks Too old thats what I thought but its great to talk to someone who has done it! Hey before you replace yours have you ever tryed to clean it? If you use M.E.K it cleans up great, you can even smooth out any nicks, wear gloves this stuff is potent.(methel ethel ketone)
