Sonic Sold to Frisini Motorsports
 

Frisini Motorsports, manufacturers of Spectre Powerboats has acquired Sonic Powerboats from CSI Marine Group and will be re-branding their full line of lake and offshore boats along with adding new models to the line up. The sale of Sonic was finalized in late August and they have already started production of some entry level boats. Owner Tony Frisina stated "Sonic is world renown for building a quality and comfortable riding boat so we will continue to build on that heritage and have lowered pricing on all the models. The "Super" series by Sonic offers boats 26' to 45' that boasts large and roomy cabins as well as a plethora of amenities for boaters who demand only the best. The Sonic line of boats have always been geared towards family performance boating allowing for the whole family to enjoy a beautiful day out on the water. "Frisini Motorsports will start working with our current dealer network immediately and will be seeking new dealers for the full product line across the United States and overseas" said John Cunningham, head of Marketing and Sales "and are already getting a great response from potential dealers and consumers.

Frisini Motorsport's corporate office is based across the Hudson river from New York City on the Jersey shore and the boats are being built in the current manufacturing plant in sunny Florida.

Will Bruce and Lolli still be involved or are they going to the house? I like the new company outlook.

Frisini seemed to do well with Spectre, high hopes for sonic too!

As of now Bruce and Lolli are still involved with Sonic. I REALLY hope that does NOT change.

From what I was told, Sonic's name will be changed...

45 Sonic do you have some relation to them? Sorry for my ignorance. Brice has been a great help to me with questions on my old sonic.

I talked to Bruce today he is excited. He said they want to put money back into the company. But we all know that the banks are what is really killing the sport boat industry.
