any yellow below the water line when left in the water for even a wk will blister happend on my 1998 26 sonic and now on my 2002 31 sonic. yellow only!!!

REALLY?.....that's not good....... i have never left mine in the water for more then a day or two........ I do know that the yellow I have is a PPG Paint and it is called Lemon Ice...maby someone with some knowledge on paints or PPG Paints can help us out on this one........

i'm waiting for a response from 45 sonic sounds like he may know something about this? correct it is ppg lemon ice

I will say this, however, if the yellow is the only blistering color it obviously is one of the tints in the color. Delete the basecoat, replace it with Concept (PPG single stage and catalyst paint) which should cure your problem.

pat thanks so much , yes it is the yellow only below the water line . the black paint and purple below the water line are fine !! i will e-mail u thanks again. funny thing is my 1998 26 sonic with yellow ppg lemon ice paint blistered and the purple below the water line was fine now the 2002 31 sonic with same lemon ice paint below water line did same no problems with the black and purple?

I have been using concept for years(especially the clears), love that suff!!
