Those guys get hurt the worst....If the guy dumps 10K into buying/transporting the boat home he then has to come up with 5 times that amount to get it ready for the water! So he is buying pieces with spare money, parts that can't be made so he is getting hassled by the wife that he keeps spending more money on a boat that has never gotten wet. 1/2 way through he has 25-35K into a project and it still needs more money......We have seen this countless times on here the Excalibur guy in Cali, Jay13 Apache rebuild and the burnt TG guy in the midwest.....all have spent money and have unfinished projects no where near water or getting 50 cents on the dollar back anytime soon......
If a guy is tight on funds, full on projects are definitely the wrong way to get into boating. Now if it needed just motors and the guy was a mechanic they that might be a good starter boat but this is a total rigging job with lots of parts to buy....
Atleast the payment guy knows what the payment will be every month, this type of project will be full of surprises.....

Would love to have had the time and money to pick that up, hopefully whoever got it does right by it.

Oops. I thought the trailer was 07 also.
A donor boat would be the only way to do it cheap, sort of.
