I might be done this weekend. we had a grew last sat of mike slick stinger/ ken donzi/ gerry of coarse and me. we got the drive/steering a gauge some zip ties, oh and got to cut a space for the header tubes in the hatch:eek:. so I am going to work on it thurs to sat and hope we will be starting it. the storm killed me I lost 5 trees and am still cutting chit up. so maybe we will see you in conn or the week after I am going to run it until it snows. thats what jackets are for.:coolcowboy: Art

I have to agree with you, it's possible the props are funny. The speeds and RPM don't seem correct. I have the 8.2's in our AT and they don't retrard the RPM's during break-in. You're probably confusing Mercury with Ski Doos advanced technology ( it's a Midwest thing )! :drink:

sp123 are you going to run in the race around Long Island?

I was told that it was going to be called off because there were only two entries... however last night I got a call from Billy Freenz indicating it is still on.. my only problem is that I got another call from a friend stating if I go to LI...it is considered a "race" therefor I have "raced" the boat and it would void my engine warranties.... so the answer to that question is not this year... I will next year however. May bring the boat to Boston for the poker run they are planing instead.

here in Florida, but I also have a problem with
insurance.

Joe is running this year again.. He was one of the first to enter. I just do not want to void my warranty on the new motors. I do not have enough hours on it just yet and I want to make sure all is running well.....

Last I read it was canceled due to lack of paid entries.

You do not know how much I was looking forward to going.. .I jsut cannot void the factory warranty just yet.... next year for sure. I would be happy to meet you for a "fun run" or Poker run anytime.

Boat is running well with almost 20 hrs on it now. it is going in next week for its service. top end is consisitanlty approx 70mph had a couple of stronger runs but it mostly runs around 70 at wot. 2900 rmp steady 40 mph which makes a great ride around the bay... 8.2 do like to drink a lot.. I am getting approx 45 gph.... very happy with the purchass. it is a very smooth running boat and handles the waves very well. Tony if you get up here anytime please give me a call.. would love to take you out for a ride.

Took the last ride of the year this morning and at 45 degrees on narragansett bay will be one that I will not forget in the near future. Very pleased with the boat. It handles the bay just great at 50mph all day long. will be working on a couple of things to increase top speed over the winter and be able to get a fresh start in April. She is going ot Ocean Preformance on Friday so Chris will be babysitting over the winter. thanks again carmine for getting it done and getting it to me. I appreiciate Tony's help and glad we finally got it home..... Thanks again see you in April.

Nice boat. They did a nice job on her. The 31 is a real nice boat.

You need to bring her down for the Sonic Poker Run next year so we all can see her in person.
