Default What is the height of a 358 on a ROCKET trailer?

Looking to get a measurement from the ground to the top of the windscreen on a 358 with a ROCKET trailer.

Question is will it go under a 9' garage door?

I doubt it. I think my 386 is 9'2". It fits nicely through a 10' door.

I also own a 358 Sonic on a Rocket trailer. Mine backed right in my shop with a 9 ft door. It cleared by a few inches. Sorry I don't have any personal info. I just joined O.S.O. this evening. I just bought my sonic 4 weeks ago. I LOVE IT!!

I would have thought a non arch Sonic would just fit under a 9' door. It would be tight. You could always let a little air out of the tires to get under, then refill them. Note I said a little.

All you guys need to bring your rides down for the Sonic Poker Run Next year- August 3-5, 2012.

100 variables.
Tire size
Wheel size
Torsion or leaf
Lifted truck, tires, wheels
Flat land or hill
Pavement or gravel driveway (you can scoop gravel out of the driveway so the rear truck tires dip low just as the windscreen clears a door)
And different boats sit on different trailers different angles

I purchased my 358 from a gentleman in Lancaster PA. but kept it in Maryland. Worldwide Brokerage still the listing online on Boats.com. Being from PA its possible you know the boat? It sounds like you just bought a 358 as well? If so what one did you purchase? I have to figure out how to get a picture and my info to appear here soon.

No, didn't buy anything. Just trying to understand if a 358 would fit in my garage in the future, if I can tow it witih my truck.... etc...

Do you have a 10' ceiling in your garage? If so, can you open the engine hatch all the way? If not, do you know how tall it is with the engine hatch open?

I have 14ft ceilings once inside my shop. However, I did check and you will be able to open the hatch all the way but it will be just about touching the ceiling. Enjoy boat hunting. I did.
