Default Prowler header/supercharger ?

Thinking about adding a Procharger supercharger and or SS headers to my stock 502 this Spring.

Am wondering what HP increase I would see with just the headers.

Procharger says that my HP should go from 415 to 620 with just adding the SC to my stock 502. I'm guessing that I would see somewhere aroung 700HP with the SC and headers upgrade.

Any info would be appreciated!

I doubt you will get 200hp unless you run alot of boost on the procharger and depending on what model procharger, then you have to think about things like the internals of the engine/engine hours- will it live long under high boost ( depending on how you run it ), and then there is the outdrive, and finally a steering upgrade to full hydraulic as your speed will increase- need this for safety and handling issues. Then there is also the tab issue. The bennets are kinda short, be better off with some longer units, unless you have 280 kplanes on your ride to give you better control at higher speeds.

5-6 lbs of boost typically is 100-150hp. My brother in law has the 502 mpi with procharger on a Prowler and aftermarket exhaust ( not headers ). The boat runs pretty good, but he has eaten a couple of B1 drives.

Header alone, probably 30-50hp maybe on the stock engine.

Your probably looking at ateast $15k for procharger setup, headers, steering, and small incidentals..... maybe more.

I would leave it ( the 26 ) alone, save your money, and move into a 31 or larger- More speed, more comfortable ride at speed and in rougher conditions. Its doesnt make any diff what you add or do, someone is always faster, no matter what you have. That obviously includes guys with larger boats too.
