Stock prop for 03 prowler with 496mag HO and bravo1 x drive
Just recently bought an 03 sonic prowler with a 496 mag HO. I'm trying to find out what prop the boat comes with. I think it's a 3 blade 23 pitch. It came with a bravo 1 24pitch 4 blade which in my opinion is over propped. I can only get 4600@ wot. Let me know what you're running. Thanks

I have a 03 Prowler she came with Bravo 1 22p prop. With that she runs 60 to 61 at little over 5000 rpm. Tried a 24p as there seems to be a few running with 24p when I was looking around at Prowlers for sale. Got the same figures that you are getting with the 24.
I am now running with Raylar forged pistons and 205 big cam and last year on a couple of test runs still would not spin a 24p up beyond 4800rpm. Have not tried 3 blade but from a great many other peoples remarks I don't think there are much if any gains in it. For a good all round prop you wont go wrong with the Bravo1 22p.
Don't forget how heavy the Prowler is compared to most other boats in it's class.

I scored a brand new B1 22p and gave it a shot....Finally today after i was chasing a bug in the motor(2 cyl not firing due to injectors) i got the boat out and running great..Hit 58 @ about 5k rpm.....Going to give it another shot this wknd and see what i can get....The seas were a bit hairy today
I still have the B1 24p that came with the boat so maybe i will have that labbed and see what happens

Im having issues with my 260 also. Not getting Rpms out of it and im running a B1 24p im guessing its not labbed bc boat comes outta the hole fine with tabs and drive down then runs outta rpms at WOT I have a xr lower not sure if that has anything to do with it. Any input would be apreciated.
