Default Mid 90's 31ss question

I am seriously looking to upgrade in size and power within
the next year. I was brousing thru the boat trader and saw
a 31ss equiped with blackhawk drives. This is the first Sonic
I've seen and actually the only other boat I remember seeing
these on was a 29' Scarab. B1's would be my first drive choice
due to proven performance, parts aval. and reliability to stock
power. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience
with this package. It may have been a request by a customer
that ended up being a flop.

Chad thats the only one I have ever heard of with Black Halks....I'd call the factory and ask! I might be interested in selling mine.....1993 31ss with 330's on steroids 74mph on GPS, all the goodies even A.C new grafix and Interior....Shhhhh my wife will kick my ass if she knew I was thinking about selling it.What are you running now????might be interested in a trade for a smaller ride...

Dyno, when I have my boat sold (which is hopefully this
coming spring) I'll look you up and see if your still thinking
of selling. I have a 265 Force Baja right now, which was a
good first boat for me but it's time to go larger and a little
faster. I'm just down a little south of you in Benton Harbor, so
maybe I'll see you in the water sometime. We usually boat
between St. Joe and South Haven, and make it north of there
a couple/three times a season. You don't boat out of Grand
Haven at all do you? We were there about 4 weeks ago and
saw a 31 in the river. If it was yours, nice looking boat.

I asked Sonic about this boat, they said that this was the only one they ever built due to the drive being discontinued. J said that it perfromed poorly at low speeds and had some planing troubles. He said the Bravo was the better setup and if you wanted more speed, the get a shorty or raise the X dimension. I called down there and the sales guy gave me some really generic answers and the I don't know, the boats brokered.

hey dyno, your PM mailbox is full...

I'm looking for a 31ss. I have a "smaller" ride.

Got any pics of you boat and how much outright? Just fishing around to see what the deals are out there.

Well like I said I'm just thinking about it...as far as the Sunsation Its worth to much for the trade....there was a picture posted of me a while back in G.H .....Red stripe took it I'll see if I can find the post.....I was thinking about a trade for a 22-27 foot single big block powered V like a Checkmate,Velocity,Challenger.....

Chad,
Stick to a 32 Fountain

I know of one for ya, and you don't have to drive far. And it's really clean. Even the trailer is freshly waxed.

(you'll probably wind up with a cruiser,anyway....) LOL!

Glad to see you finally got OSO to work and got on line. Only 1 built that way? Argh, sounds like you'd be axe'n for trouble.
