3.5 years ago all that super great press and them buying all these boat companies and building all these boats and doing all this new testing on top of a ton of advertising for the first year and half. Then a couple boats at Miami Boatshow in the water their first year, then 3 C.C. boats at LHC boatshow 2 or 3 years ago.

Well that was then but now is totally different. Bad press. law suit, no advertisements, unheard of for any new builds, no one even talks about seeing any of their boats on the water, no more bragging. No one even talks about anything going on at the plant as I'm sure someone up here drives by everyday.

I like the way the press always blows things out of the water with comments like how busy boat manu are and up to their neck in orders. There is not one sport manufacturer killing it. IMO I think maybe this Sonic and the rest of their companies what maybe built 12 to 16 boats in 3.5 years. Wow that's a small spec of what the worst wakeboard boat manufacturer builds in 2 months. How things have changed.

Really? Any details? Still has my money and my boat. Can't even sell it for 160k online. The power of the internet has caught up with Frisina. Used center consoles seem to bring more money than he can get for a stuffed brand new one. I guess people don't want to be involved in the messes coming in the future. Karma can be a *****.

Website still up - phone # still good and you can order a Sonic. You can call them to find out for yourself. Have no idea what is the correct info about whats going with them. Anyways like I said someone up here has to drive by their location at least once in a while to see any activity. I was told that Performance Boats mag has a new boat in the next magazine from them. We can read all about that when the mag comes out.

Chuck sorry about what happen. I am from your area, born & raised. Left NY 32 years ago. I really miss boating in upstate NY but would not be able to take the winters. Use to go SPAC back in the day and the Palace Theater for all the concerts.. .Good luck to you.

they have a left over 35 foot hull for sale with 502s for $149 k . they said the hull was built by old owner , thats a long time to have a 35 hull sitting with no buyer ,
I was told they sold a 30 footer and have the 38 with step's and 700's that did 109 mph for sale , seem's pretty fast for a 38 sonic but thats what I was told by the sonic sale's guy ,
I no my 2004 38 with 525,s did 75 mph on a good day so to pick up 34 mph with step's and 350hp extra seem's incredible

That 38 came out really nice, would like to see some performance trial. Wonder how it handles with the 5 steps?
