ok here goes.......
1980 - 81 sonic rs 33
brandnew1.5 racing trs drives with (supposedly speedmaster gears) the owner says its built for up to 850 h.p. bulletproof
twin 440 hp bigblocks brandnew rebuilt
all new pumps on everything
blueprinted bottom
new emeron (sp) paint
very clean interior and cabin
this boat is very clean, it shows as allmost new.
i think it has an 8.6 beam and is a true 33 +feet.. with a swim platform it would be a 36 foot boat here's a few more pics

i have to install the new motors and remove the
tall deck blocks 680 h.p. from the boat.
fill the exsisting exaust holes and put them back to the
original spot about 3-4 inches lower and a smaller dia.
with the 440hp motors he told me the boat tops out at 65 - 70mph
i also believe the hull is a 26 degree deep vee
it eats rough water for breakfast

he has two sets of motors, i bought it with the smaller H.P. ones
so i have to reinstall the 440 H.P. blocks. the 680 H.P. blocks will be for sale soon and i will find find out the details...
I believe the 440's are the originals ,completely rebuilt and slightly upgraded with 0 hours.... He wanted and extra 20 k for the boat with both sets of motors.... i was more interested in the reliability than the big power and also the extra $$$ had somthing to do with it.......
Yes the k planes are brandnew.... among many other things.
heres a cockpit pic

I've recently purchased a 33 rs also and have been refurb'ing for the past few months from the inside out. I plan to shoot new paint on it this winter.
Would love to share pics and stories
