Bringing this back up. I'm running the max machine works cavitation plate. All in all not worth it.The boat still has porpoise, but not as bad. Still have to tab down to control it. And still have to keep drive down. I'm really thinking longer tabs would help. I'm just wondering if going with 280 kplanes or Danas 900 would be worth it. Anybody try the big tabs on this boat? Maybe even try 380 size? Now,when i run it hard no problems. But I do 95 percent at 32-36 rpms 40-45 mph. And I would like to be able to run the drive and tabs neutral.
