Thumbs up I think I found one worth a sea trial

Found a 1998 31SS in Ft. Lauderdale that I'm going to sea trial w/i the next few weeks. It doesn't have a trailer, so does anyone know of one for sale in Lauderdale area? Or one to rent if I end up buying the Sonic?

Just looking at my options right now.

What would you estimate shipping from there to Northern VA? $1,000?

Any recommendations on a surveyor down there?

I have gotten quotes around 1000 bucks from Lauderdale to here, but it may depend on the season(I was trying to get it north at the end of the summer). Sorry, can't help with a surveyor but Boat US has list on their website.

I have a buddy with a dually who can beat that. He is in Orlando, and can help out.

Let me know and I'll be more than happy to go get it for you. By the way did you ever contact National Marine about the 1988 41SE??
I'd have Sonic look at the boat. Fred is the person you should speak with.

Good luck

43Thunder,

Thanks. I'll let you know how things progress. I didn't call National, because 41' will be a little bit more than I can handle at present. That would be awesome if I could get Sonic to look at the boat. I'll call Fred.

Is it the one with the blue stripes, 454 Mags and the arch? If so, I test drove it with the previous owner in Long Island before I bought my 35. I believe that the current owner is a member of OSO, CelticPride or something??

PM me if you have any questions.

Here's a picture of it. Is this the one you test drove?

Is it at Dollar Offshore? I bought mine from Tom Martin. I had no problems with him. Sorry, I have no info about the boat
