Default "crazy greg " boat ride

if any of you sonic owners or future sonic owners are in the ft. lauderdale area book a ride on the "crazy greg boat" a 386 sonic .
we did while at the miami show and what a blast we had going from ft. lauderdale to miami . you can really see what a top notch boat the sonic really is in the ruff stuff , unbelievable !!! robert and buddy did a great job showing us around and driving. go to their web site and check it out www.speedboatrides.com or call them for info at (954) 779-7660 . have fun !!! i know we'll be doing it again real soon!!!

We caught up with the CG crew and 26Sonic in Key Biscayne, after our ride on the 46 BT. We also saw you guys heading back north, as we were laying out on the sand in South Beach. The CG crew is a great bunch, and next year we will probably book a ride, or rent a performance boat down in Key West.

The bigger the Sonic is.....the better the ride ! Thats why I love my 42. I have run thru 4-5's at better than 50-60mph and barely flinched ! The ride is awesome in the rough stuff. I dont have a problem riding in or thru it, within reason. Obviously if its really bad out, I dont like to go out. No matter how good the ride is, there is the occassional roughs that can do harm to the boat, any boat for that matter. So a good owner/captain has to use common sense. As much as these toys cost, no sense in tearing them up.

Rode on that boat whenever I was in town... Gregg did pass away several years ago. 38 sonic, believe 2000 model had been for sale online a few years back..... Don't know if thereafter the business went on...

Unhappy

Friends and I went on Crazy Gregs boat several times while on several trips to Ft Lauderdale several years ago. Unfortunately, when we went back in the spring of 06, Robert had sold his slip where they used to launch the rides and the Sonic was up for sale. No more rides. That was a great Sonic advertisement. After my first ride with Robert it sold me. I now have my first Sonic and I love it.
