Is that correct 65% lighter that means a hull that weighed 10000 lbs will now way 3500 lbs.

No, as Catagory5 stated I may be wrong with that number. But, what ever the percentage is, it will ONLY apply to the hull and deck. The weight of the inner liner will remain the same for now as I understand it.

The inner liner is slated to be infused in the very near future as well. They can only rotate out so many molds at a time for fiitting in the Infusion gear, without impacting production... per Richard.

After the show, I went to the Sonic factory for a tour. I was real impressed with the infusion/bagging process as the laminations are much tighter with less resin, therefore the "lost" weight ... maybe 10-15%?? They are now making there own bolters and have an electric option for them..... still not Mc Leod's but what else is? The new innerliners looked good also using the infusion process. & the deck is also the same, then bonded after the liner is installed & bedded. Nice people too.

Why should Jay still be there??? He sold the company!!! You cannot always keep the old owners on board except for a "transfer" period. Then changes must be made..... that's the scoop. Do search on Jay Ross... you will find out!!
