I measured the pads and came up with these measurements. I am going to have them made 1/16 of an inch smaller than the plastic pads, just so not to put too much pressure on the edges/corners, where they meet the vinyl of the armrests. Check out these pictures:

Everyone may not have holes in the same place, but we have to start somewhere. All of the ones I measured were exact as this one above. I am also going to have the mounting holes carved with a countersink so the mounting screws sit flush.

Sydwayz, Thanks for all your reseach and effort into the steps. I am definitely looking forward to the upgraded step pads. My white ones are good for about 2 minutes before they need cleaning
