Talking I'm buying a Sonic

You got to hear me whine all winter about wanting a 31SS. Now I found one, but a little longer. I held off on spilling the beans until I got it surveyed and found insurance. I was there for the survey last Saturday and in the words of the surveyor "I couldn't tell it was used until I saw the engine timers!!!" Needless to say I was very pleased. Insurance was a bit tougher with a DUI on my record. Finally, got a binder with OffShore Risk.

It's the 1995 Sonic 35SS that was for sale in Cicero, NY (Syracuse) by "bn" on OSO. I hope to have it in Solomons, MD within two weeks.

I'm so pumped. Now I'm going to drive you guys crazy with all my new owner questions!

First question. What's the RPM range of a 454 MAG MPI/Bravo I? It comes with Mirage 25 pitch props and I'm trying to figure out if that's a good match for overall performance.

Bill

Welcome! You will love this boat.

The marina removed the winter shrink wrap from our boat last week. So, the wife and I were out today rewrapping our 1988 Sonic 30 SS with plastic to better weather the snowstorm that is coming. Arrg!

Sweet Boat! I'm sure you will enjoy it. The rpm range for the motors WOT is 4,600 to 5,000 rpm's.
