I had someone look at this boat for me in the spring. It does have bottom paint on it and the drives look like they have been sitting in salt h2o since 1990. Also, there was something wrong with the port motor, they pulled the heads and that's when I bailed on the deal. I have a video tape of the boat inside and out. We decided that we did not want the hassle that would come with redoing the bottom and drives, finding a trailer for it, and then having it hauled up here.

What a shame.... bottom paint on a Sonic ! Or any GoFast for that matter.

Goes to show how easy it is to mess up a real nice boat, and add not taking care of it to boot....drives, engine etc.

Guess they'll be sitting on that for a while. If they prepped the bottom right for the paint, a lot of work will be required to restore it to new condition, and get rid of the nasty ole bottom paint.
