Default Transom Shower Cap

Anyone know where I can get a replacement cap for the transom shower? The rubber cap that is attached to the flush mounted transom shower came off over the weekend, the rubber tore off.

Yeah, it's the standard transom shower that you find on most boats.

Hey, maybe Billet should start selling a replacement cap and I bet it would look really cool. Anyone from Billet listening????

I have a machine shop and could start spitting them out on the CNC lathe. Just need one to copy.

I already ordered a replacement - Thanks! I decided to get something a little more durable, so I went with the 100860-00.

I had the same problem... Also have another question. When I go out for the weekend, always end up short on water. I turn off the pump, but always seem to lose the majority of my water by the time I dock. Have not discovered any leaks. Is it splashin out the overflow??
Just wonderin..

Scott,
Sounds like it is probably leaking around the pump which is probably in the engine compartment, forward gunwale, port side, OR, somewhere around the transom shower. Water is probably ending up in your bilge and getting pumped or drained out.

If you do not winterize the pump properly, the very bottom square cap on the pump is designed to crack, instead of the entire pump. Mine was cracked like this when I bought it. Pump worked fine, but sprayed fine mist in engine compartment whenever turned on. Turn on the pump an stick your head up there near the pump, as well as your hands around it and all fittings to see what you may can come up with.

I recommend removing the pump all together for winter storage. Two electrical spade connectors (may have to install these), and two twist off water fittings and it is de-installed and safely in your basement.
