38 sonic ?

looking at late90's to 2000 38 sonics found most had 502's in them , what speed do they run ? how do they ride ? any porpoiseing ? anyone running bigger power 600+ hp ?

We have a 2005 386 with 800's-there isn't any porpoising with our hull it does have a notch in the transom,which they removed from the 358 in 2002 to help eliminate the porpoising.Sonic is still dialing our boat in, but it should be in the upper 90's.

Hi everyone this is my first time on this web site. I own a 2000 386 sonic, it has a pair of HP 500s It honestly does 76 on the GPS but i love the ride!!! I upgraded from a 31. I"M glad i did but i don"t like the rumors that I"m hearing about SONIC... I hope that it gets resovled. Paul let me know how you"re making out with yours.
