Hey El Vice Presidente',
Whats the plan for friday morning. I think i am going to come down early thursday to get a couple of the fellow members boats buffed out for em. Let us know the game plan for friday so i can let the kentucky MCPA members know where to meet us for the convoy down....

Who's in for the 6:00 departure time from the "south side" (MJ/Hermitage/Old Hickory)?
Where do we meet up?????
How about the parking lot beside O' Charley's Hermitage.
The Kroger is there for beer/drinks/food if anybody needs some last minute stuff. There 2 gas stations nearby if anyone needs fuel. Other ideas welcome.............
This going to be too much fun. Let's hope the weatherman is cooperative .....right now Friday looks awesome, mid 80s,
partly cloudy. Saturday looks like isolated t-storms. Sunday?
Steve

One of the things discussed at the meeting Friday was departure times for going down. It looks like everyone wants to avoid traffic in Nashvegas Friday morning, so we have two times that we will meet and convoy down.

The early birds will meet at the Dickson exit at Cracker Barrel,(I believe its Exit #172) at 7:00 AM. That will get everyone out of Nashville before the traffic hits.

The second group will meet at the same place at 11:00 AM, this will allow me to sleep and let everyone get to work before coming through Nashville.

If anyone wants to meet up prior to Dickson like Steve is suggesting, plan it now so everyone is on the same sheet of music.
Everyone that is working the race be sure to get in touch with Karen Patterson if you havent gotten an email from her already. Her number is 832-233-3095. She is the OSS event coordinator for us working and hass all of our passes, shirts etc. Its important that she talk to all of us.

If anyone has any other questions, give me a call 615-207-8492.

Thanks,
Matt

PS....Evan youre more than welcome to stay here with us, but your beyotch has to stay outside with the dogs!!!

I HOPE SHE DOESNT SEE IT ALSO!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I think almost everyone but Rob and I are going down early. You guys should have about 10-12 boats in the early morning run. Thats going to be a cool looking convoy!!!

It looks like I will be getting up early and sleep drive to Pickwick. I know I will not make it to Dickson by 7 am but should not be too far behind them. I think Matt will be a little behind on the 11 am time and that is too late for me. I want to boat some Friday!

Wow,
What a road trip. I think everybody had a large time.......I know Butch and I did . Thanks to Melissa and Todd for organizing the cabin deal. That's my kind of roughing it.
Oh yeah, I picked out my next boat over the weekend. Just have to run it by the bank and the boss lady ..........
Regards,
Steve

Hate to burst your bubble Steve, but they sold it while you were there. A guy from St. Louis bought it and I saw it run twice....what a machine!!! It ran 160mph on Saturday and they were going to shoot for about 170mph on Sunday. I spoke with the MTI crew that was there and Im trying to talk the guy that bought it into coming down for Haulin on Old Hickory. I was hoping for a Nor-tech vs. MTI shoot out.......

Oh well, the bank and the boss both said NO ..........
I thought it was pretty resonable :
20% down-$240,000, payments for 15 years-$5,800 per month...........that doesn't cover maintenance, fuel ($6.00 per gallon), storage, insurance, new dually, etc, etc............
They're practically GIVING it away .....................
