Default Newbie!

Not really new to the powerboat scene but I am back in the saddle so to speak. Great to see a presence here in Nashville. I will be joining MCPA in the next few days and looking forward to warm weather.

I just bought a very nice Scarab III and can't wait to get her wet. Pics to follow

I am docking @ Elm Hill - does anybody know anyone with a 10K Hydro Hoist for sale?

gofastlvr,
Welcome to MCPA. Nice Scarab. Very clean. Can't help you with the hydrohoist, but maybe some of the guys can.
See you on the water (soon I hope ).
Regards,
Steve

Steve,

Do most of you guys boat on Old Hickory or Priest?

The MCPA crowd boats on both area lakes. Some of us do tend to boat on the lake closest to us (Old Hickory for me), out of habit or convenience.
The hangouts are: skinny dip cove on Old Hickory, and dogleg cove on Percy Priest.
We also make frequent trips to Center Hill. It's an hour or less tow, and well worth it once you get there. Big beautiful highland lake, with good facilities, waterfalls, clean deep water, and light traffic.
Regards,
Steve

I am very familiar with all the area lakes. I had a 26' formula that I sold about a 18 month ago that I trailered. I love Center Hill but it has always seemed a little civilized. Bikini Island on Ky Lake near Perryville is also pretty cool in the summer.

I use to go to party cove on priest fairly regularly. Is it still the same place? Can't wait to get out with some of you guys.

Nice boat. Glad to see you back in the saddle, or bolster should we say. Those boats always had class.

There is a club in Paducah, when MCPA does stuff up here try to make sure you join in, the two clubs have some great times together.
