What's everyone doing this weekend?
Rick H, the Harts, and I are all headed to Center Hill.
KennyO say more of us are headed to Pates Ford. Maybe we can hook up midlake (Falling Water Creek/love those falls, or Mine Lick Creek) with you guys .............KennyO try my cell.
I know another group is headed to Dale Hollow.

You know what I know. I'm staying here. Not totally ready for travel yet. Did you guys find a marina that will rent you slips?

Edgar Evins/State Dock will not, unfortunately. Center Hill Marina says cabin renters get 1st dibs on dock space, and then they MAY rent to non cabin renters if anything is left.
Hurricane has new slips under construction and says "we don't know what we're going to do with them"..... like rent them out maybe??, plus they have a weird launch ramp, Cookeville Dock says they have slips available to fit our boats, "1st come, 1st serve" no reservations. Way up the lake, but it is in Falling Water creek near the the falls, and they make a wicked catfish sandwich ..................

So, we are on the waiting/cancellation list for a cabin at Edgar Evins. If we get one great, if don't, we'll be taking lake baths because we're going anyway !

Oh gosh Steve, you ain't kidding....Hurricane Creek is AWFUL! Brian and I about killed each other the year we launched there. Guess we will be hanging around here. If we get some $$ worked out we might be floating on something different this weekend...

Were headed to Center Hill also. Sounds like one of the groups will be in Pine Creek or the next one down towards Pates Ford past the next marina. I'll probably run the lake from Pates to the Dam and back if anyone is interested. We are planning on hitting the water mid morning Sat.......

Change of plans.......we scored the inlaws cabin in the subdivision near Pate's Ford, so we'll be on that end of the lake too.
Renting slips at the marina Saturday and Sunday nights so we don't have to launch the boats (actually we're launching at Hurricane Bridge and running up the lake AM Saturday) @ PF.
It's a looong tow to PF on a twisty country road, and the ramp road is tight for the big boats.

Eric was burning the midnight oil again last night trying to get everyone back on the water.

01 29 Outlaw....TWINS! We love her! Did perfect for us all weekend thank goodness! We would have came to Center Hill but after driving almost 24 hrs non stop to get the new family member we just couldn't handle any more driving. Brian and I were plum tuckered!!!
