They covered a lot of lake on Saturday. They buzzed 2 foot. Somebody called TWRA on em and they got hassled.

Made em promise to take it straight to the trailer.

By the way, boat has crashboxes. Can't shift with the motas running. Reminds me of the old days of hopped up outboards and big props. Throw em in gear and start em.

Scism was out to double check the handling of the boat after the minor mishap (over $100k worth of DAMAGE). He gave it a clean bill of health and taught everybody a thing or two about how to toss a 42' Cat into the corners at speed...

Wish I had time available to play with em that week, but I knew if I showed up I wouldn't ever get back to work till the boat rolled back out of town. I'd have been sitting in it all strapped in sawing the wheel back and forth making motor sounds with my tongue..

If anyone is interested, I should be receiving a video of Mitch's crash at PW. As a far as we (Dean & I) know, this is the only video made of Mitch's crash.
The videographer the was onboard the boat was pointing his camera the other way when it happened. Ken

I got some great pictures of it. We where on the outside of the course between turn 1 and 2. If someone can show me how to resize the pics I can post them.

Ken,
I also got the crash on video, and gave Mitch a DVD of it right after the race. I'm pretty sure Chris Flenner did too.
Your's may be of higher quality, as we were approximately 1/4 mile away from the crash when it happened.
