How about those TITANS!
How about the Titans,
I know several of you guys and gals are fans like me. I thought our talented but young team had a chance against Indy yesterday. Indy has beaten us 7 in a row, will probably win the AFC and go to the Super Bowl, and is arguably the best team in the country. BUT, we played them to a 1 point loss in Indy earlier in the season, and beat little brother Eli last week.
Well, the Titans didn't let us down!
When Bironas kicked the 60 yarder to win the game, I couldn't believe it
...................I looked at Butch and said, "did he really make that, did I really see that, or are my eyes lyin' to me?"
Then the stadium just erupted
, and they posted the 3 points on the scoreboard!
I'm calling it "THE MIRACLE TWO"
!
It's nice to be able to turn on Sports Center for 2 weeks running and have them talking about what a "great young team the Titans are" .........Vince Young, rookie of the year?

They've actually become fun to watch again. Hell, I even get excited about their games, contrary to the last couple of years.

Guess who's on the cover of Sports Illustrated this week?
None other than our own Vince Young ..........
Tough assignment this week with the J'ville Jagoffs in town. They beat the crap out of Indy last week in J'ville. It will be a good test of how much progress we've made since they beat the crap out of us in J'ville earlier this season.

Well,
Looks like Vince suffered the Sports Illustrated cover jinx, but our defense pulled us through against the Jagoffs !
No style points will be given, but I'll take an ugly win over J'ville any time.
If I'm Vince, I'm taking the defense out to a nice steak dinner this week.
