My wife mentioned to me today about the MC crew had a thread about boat shows and that made me think about the upcoming St. Louis boat show. I will be making reservations the next week or two. The dates for the show are Feb 6th thru the 11th.


Typically we travel up Friday after work, drop the kids off at my Brother and Sister-in-laws and then stop at a local restaurant called Lotta Watta Creek on the ILL (Fairview Heights) side and then on to the hotel. Saturday after the show we always go to the Hill for dinner (great Italian) and then return back to the hotel and walk too the Landing (down by the Miss River) to have a whole lot of beers.

If you never been they have probably one of the best boat shows in the Mid west for performance boats within a 4 hr drive or less.

I went last year... The show was great and definitely worth the drive. Probably go again this year.

FYI,,, Hooters at Union Station is closed now!!

Sho-Me's at the Landing is better, then to top it off, Diamond Cabaret

Sho-Me's is better than Hooter's IMO.

Diamond Cabaret and there are a few more to run too, Lets see 2 PTS show clubs, Roxies, Platinium Club and its been so long I forgot a bunch more. Not that I have been to any, just seen them from the road

The Diamond is the Penthouse club now, thats what a friend told me

I will see if im off, my dad lives in O'fallon so Friday I would stay with them.

When I asked Lori if she wanted to hit the show this year, I told her we're going to the place that used to be the Diamond... The crowd I went with last year wouldn't go

I've been to "Adult" Clubs all over the U.S., and I guess I've had a better time at PT's than anywhere else in the Country!!! They say that the new "Hustler Club" is awesome as well!! It was in Playboy's top 20 list!! but I think you have to buy a membership to even enter the place!!

Better??? maybe as good!! I like the wings better but I don't think the Talent is as good!! We love the Landing and usually stay at the Embassy Suites whenever we go, so we can Tour the Landing, and then hit the "Toy Store" on the way back to the Hotel!!

So ,are you going to a boat show or a strip club? Both of them cost lots of money!
