Where do you spend most of your time ?

I have a trailer set up at Possum Kingdom. I may go to Texoma 2 or 3 times per summer.

Congratulations. We have lakeproperty at Sunset Beach - it sure does make for a more relaxing weekend. Lets see some pics of TX OSO members and their boats and maybe some lake property.

My fiance and me, and a picture of the lake taken off the porch. The property has rightfully earned the name sunset beach on the map and is one of the best kept secrets on Texoma.

The Python is doing great. I spent 2 days buffing / waxing and she really looks great. We attended a Fun Run at PK this weekend. 99% Baja`s with one Fountain, one Scarab and my Python. Had a great time and the boat ran well.

Got the title and have already registered it in my name and got my TX numbers on too.

Maybe we`ll see you on Texoma sometime this summer.

It`s a 28' travel trailer. I set it up at a long-term lakeside rv park. It`s my weekend mansion ! :D

Yep that would be nice, but being that the Corp of Engineers is being sued right now over the Labor Day accident I don't think we will see any this year:(

Sued? I though it was an accident? How can someone sue the Corps?

The Corps issues a permit for every single "event" on the lake. From what I hear the family is suing everybody they can.

Now lets see some more TX lake pics. Clay I know you got some good ones.

Any place that has water!! But Travis and Destin are our favorites.

txwatergypsy 06-18-2007 07:56 PM

Here is our little ride. Not real fast, but handles the rough pretty well.

What would keep people from running together in a group on Texoma? If it were informal could we pull it off?

Do you actually live there, or just boat there ?

What is your boat ?

imartin 06-26-2007 10:43 AM

For now: Conroe, Canyon Lake, Sommerville. House is bieng built on Canyon Lake so when done, boat will be stored there and will only be on Canyon. Might visit Travis once and again.

Clay Washington 06-27-2007 08:53 AM

Hey Ian! Come up to Travis this year! :)

TexomaPowerboater 06-27-2007 12:35 PM

Clay - Is Lake travis flooding right now? I heard on the news that people are getting rescued off of their roof tops down there. Texoma is starting to flood - its up 6ft from normal and rising a foot everyday. BUT it can also drop a ft in a day, so as long as it stops raining we should be OK...................

We had a Memorial Run in Arkansas last month for Gordon & Ann...everything went great! Got a notice from the corp on how smoothly everything ran. It will be a few years before any runs exist on Texoma. We miss 'em!!! Kelli
