Clay, Can you get to your boat without swimming to the walkway?

These pictures do not really let you see how high the water is unless you know where the normal level is. I just remember it is a long walk up from the marina to the top of the hill when the lake is at normal height

Good news is the last 2+ hrs the water has not gone up. We might be peaking.

They guess the water will rise until Thursday, then will take another 10 days to go back down. Then clean up one hell of a mess.

Default Lake Travis at 700 feet and still rising!

Lake Travis has topped 700 feet above mean sea level and may rise another foot today based on rain that has already fallen. After the Hill Country received scatterd showers overnight, LCRA officials continue to closely monitor weather conditions that could cause more rain that eventually would feed into the lake.

Note - 681 is considered "full". We are 19 feet above flood stage!

Default Across from Lago Vist Marina last Memorial Day

Travis was at 665 ft when the picture was taken last May. Level dropped to 643 in December and now the lake is at 701..... almost a 60ft rise from the attached photo. the houses in the background are probably under water.

That is the top of the hill, where the water is in the outside bar at C & C's.

Last Tuesday morning around 6 am as I was headed to Austin to start moving items a guy on the radio was talking with the Red Cross mobile unit that was in route to Marble Falls. After he got done talking to the Red Cross he made the comment that FEMA was on the way & they would be here (Austin) in about 2 weeks. I think that was one of the only things I hear or saw that day that made me laugh.

I do not think FEMA has gotten the Memo yet that Texas is flooding.
