Sounds like fun. Wish we could have some races on Texoma. I remember they had some on Lake Quichita (Arkansas) last year. That lake is about the same size, but without the big main spans you see on Texoma.

VVector - these files are too big to send and they keep getting rejected. Any ideas?

Some pics from our Labor Day meet and greet.

All you would have to do , is find a sponsor that sponsors a race with the city or county there.

To atract spectators, for vendors (like hotels and other econimy pushing parties.

To set up a race with lets say 20-30 boats its gonna be around 250 -350 K .

And as soon as you have that or close to that you need to get in touch with our president at SBI/APBA ( Jhon Carbonell )

And the race is on !

And u will be officialy RACEMANAGER !!! Sounds cool . LOL

Thats what alot of people ,even in the business ,dont understand.

SBI /APBA is a company not a club !

They have liabilitys and other expenses to cover, everybody whants to get payed, and it takes alot of efford and work to plan a race.

KW, costs about 500-1mil. is what i heard and for an event over 1 week and this size ,not unrealistic.

GET TO WORK, and it will happen. LOL

Sweet poster.

I gotta ask..........for that kind of money, why not start up my own racing club/company and run my own races. All the races would be on Texoma and would have two clases, under 24ft and under 30ft, that way the rough water can still make things interesting. Or maybe even start up a new shootout; the area by the denison dam would put LOTO to shame. 3 miles of road to park and watch and plenty of room on the other side for boats to raft up. The biggest boat ramp on the lake is right nearby and has 3 two lane ramps and a parking lot for the big rigs. You could even tailgate and watch the races from the ramp its so close.
